Being a part of the Master Rare Book and Digital Humanities has been an incredible journey so far. From learning about book history and digital tools to working hands-on with rare collections, I’ve deepened my understanding of how important cultural preservation is in our digital era and how the old and new can
coexist and enrich one another. This program has also strengthened the passion that was already within me: to work in cultural heritage preservation.
One of the best parts of this adventure was my internship abroad. It was my first time in this new country, where I got to work with a remarkable collection from day one, and was surrounded by lovely colleagues. A one in a million experience!
As I am close to finishing my master’s, I’m amazed at how much this whole path has changed me. This program has been more than just studies. It’s been about exploring new places, embracing new cultures and languages, and discovering so much about myself. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s made
this experience possible and has been part of it, and I look forward to whatever comes next.
