For me, digital humanities remains a nebulous term — even after studying the subject for three semesters. However, when I ponder more about it, it seems fitting that the term is fuzzy and a bit hard to draw borders around, as that means it is open for interpretation and innovation. While technology and artificial intelligence continue to advance at a rapid rate, researchers and scholars are able to explore their fields using new technological tools to produce unique research outcomes as compared to the pen and paper research of the past. Thus, the definition of digital humanities as a field is also ever expanding and evolving; the term is like a liquid encompassing all the diverse developments that result from using digital tools to explore the humanities.
