Through these two years in the Master’s program in Rare Books and Digital Humanities, my knowledge and perspective on DH have evolved. Initially, I considered this field as a unique and somewhat mysterious area of research.
However, after these two years, my view of this field has changed, and I can now define it more clearly. Today, I see DH as an interdisciplinary field that seeks to combine and adapt the principles of classical humanities with the tools developed daily by computer science. From my perspective, we can see DH today as an adaptation phase. In the future, I believe we will no longer distinguish between humanities and digital humanities as separate fields, but rather see them as a unified field with numerous possibilities and tools.
