As I am close to wrapping up my Master’s in Rare Book and Digital Humanities, I realize how much this journey has shaped me. From diving into classes on book history and digital tools to working on my thesis about rare book collections and their provenance marks, each part of the program has been useful and inspiring.
My internship was especially rewarding, it gave me great experience with rare collections and a chance to see how digital skills bring history to life. The more I learned, the more I saw how essential this work is for preserving our cultural heritage in the digital age. I’m thrilled to start my new internship and am confident it will be just as rewarding and inspiring as my first experience.
This program offers a remarkable blend of subjects, covering everything from book history and ancient languages to programming, digital tools, illustrated manuscripts, Python, and even the art of marbling paper. Each skill and piece of knowledge gained here is a valuable asset, equipping us for diverse career paths and enhancing our future professional lives.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to my growth along the way. I look forward to reconnecting on future projects and collaborations. Thank you!
